Opportunities For Entrepreneurs

To submit an application, first register and create a login name and password. Select a login name that is easy to remember, such as your email or name. Please keep a record of your login name. Student Entrepreneur Mentoring Request Draft a proposal

If you are in business or just have an idea, we will help find the customers, investors, and the talent you need to grow.  

Just tell us about your business and how we can help.

You will be assigned a mentor with the expertise you need to succeed.

Maker Faire Table Request - April 27, 2019 Draft a proposal

If you have a product that you make (or plan to make) yourself in Connecticut, and would like to offer it for sale, or  obtain feedback from potential customers, you may apply here for a free table for two hours at the Westport Maker Faire on Saturday April 27.  The space is being offered by the Entrepreneurship Foundation to products its judges believe have the greatest potential for success.  You will be notified by April 10 if you have been awarded space.

2019 Spring- Connecticut Collegiate Business SUPPORT Competition Draft a proposal

Applications are due April 18.  Finalists will be notified Tuesday, April 23.  Students enrolled in Connecticut colleges and universities are eligible.  At the finals, industry practitioners will review your work and may ask you questions about your intention and process.

2019 UBusiness Plan Competition Draft a proposal

Students attending the University of Bridgeport are eligible.

The finals will take place at 5:00 pm on April 17 in Mandeville 104.

The finals will consist of 5-minute PowerPoint presentations with Q&A from investor judges.

In addition to the $1000 in cash prizes, the top 4 entries will move on to the state finals, with over $20,000 in awards.
